It's never gotten close to the attention of Art Basel, so arteaméricas tried to gin up some buzz this year with its (somewhat contrived) "Latin Is Hot!" campaign. Now in its sixth year, however, the fair is definitely worth a look. The draw is the wide-ranging focus on traditional and contemporary Latin American art, which translates to more than 300 artists from about 70 galleries. Look out for compelling work from several international spaces and, locally, Wynwood's Diana Lowenstein and Praxis International Art, Coral Gables stalwart Cernuda Arte, and ArtSpace/Virginia Miller Galleries.
