More Flavor Sunset Tavern: In the Biz

A lot of the folks who frequent downtown's nightlife have to trek from the farthest reaches of Kendall, Hialeah, and South Miami. As fun as those road trips can be, turning to local options can be just as rewarding (not to mention safer). On a mellow night, the Sunset Tavern's In the Biz Mondays is the de facto hangout for after-hours waitstaff and bartenders, but it holds considerable appeal for the average partygoer, as well. In truth, sometimes a stiff drink and a good jukebox are far better than an overpriced cocktail and an "adventurous" amateur DJ — especially when you're close to home.
