Separated Siamese twin biologists Oswald and Oliver Deuce lose their wives in a car wreck and proceed to devote themselves to the Darwinian origins of life and the mysteries of death. That their, er, "investigations" hopscotch between David Attenborough documentaries and time-lapse photography of decomposition is but part of the fun; that they befriend the dame who drove the car that killed their wives, even as she's slowly transformed into a Vermeer-esque amputee, is another. A hoot of a mad flick, Zed makes you squirm with unease as it smacks straight off the wall.
