Art Unbroken Ties: Dialogues in Cuban Art

Inspired by the tripartite structure of Greek tragedies, Unbroken Ties: Dialogues in Cuban Art examines the experience of exile in three chapters: Paradise Lost, Risking Life and Limb, and Unbroken Ties/New Reality. The exhibition takes a careful look at the American influence on Cuban culture and draws from the museum's impressive collection of contemporary Cuban art. The show is composed of paintings, photos, videos, and works in other media from 40 prominent artists, including José Bedia, María Magdalena Campos-Pons, Enrique Martínez Celaya, Glexis Novoa, Carlos Betancourt, and Andres Serrano.
