For Sweat Records' local-author showcase, the store has recruited Crissa-Jean Chappell, whose debut young-adult novel, Total Constant Order, was a bronze-medal winner at the Florida Book Awards. The story revolves around Fin — a ninth-grader suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and isolation — and the free-spirited skateboarder who introduces her to graffiti, manatees, and the possibility that the noises in her soul's cellar might have something to teach her after all.
