Next time you feel the urge to play hide and seek, tuck yourself into Spinello Gallery and let Lee Materazzi's photographs teach you a thing or two about being inconspicuous. Her portraits of bodies — some gloriously naked, others clad in downtown fashion — are linked by their headlessness. Subjects pose with their noggins buried in the ground, swathed in fabric, or just plain missing. Whether these darkly humorous photos inspire an identity crisis or a marathon session of Big Buck Hunter, Materazzi's first solo effort at Spinello is equal parts sexy and mysterious. True to her Miami roots, Materazzi proves that identity is extraneous as long as you've got good fashion sense.
