In honor of Puccini's 150th birthday, Emerging Pictures' opera series continues with a screening of La Scala's Il trittico (The Triptych), staged and shot in HD for the screen. The three one-act operas tell stories of adultury and murder (Il tabarro); religious redemption (Suor Angelica); and, based on an obscure reference in Dante's Divine Comedy, greed (Gianni Schicchi).
