Taxi to the Dark Side examines the horrifying story of a young Afghan taxi driver who was tortured and beaten to death by American soldiers while imprisoned at the infamous Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The film takes a steely look at America's stance on torture by interviewing both its supporters and detractors. What emerges is a harrowing appraisal of US methods of national defense, leaving the viewer to judge whether the ends justify the means.
