Juke are a welcome oddity on the Miami music scene: a group of guys playing dirty, road-worn electric blues to a younger crowd that usually gorges itself on local jam bands. They've earned those fans over the past few years with regular performances at venues all over town. Recently, the band signed a contract with Los Angeles indie label Sawgrass Records — which means that if Juke play their cards (and instruments) right, their driving, harmonica-fueled Miami blues could soon catch on outside the city, too.
