Brendan O'Hara is a serious troubadour, taking seemingly endless tours across the country and playing his songs about twisted love and a nation in crisis for anyone who will listen. Along the way, O'Hara's tunes have picked up strains of soul, blues, hip-hop, and folk. Recently, he's even taken to performing with a human beatboxer and a trumpet player while he tickles out chords on keyboard or guitar; it's a lineup that serves as a truly astounding study in funky minimalism.
