Music Best of the Best 2008

Every year, the Best of the Best show features the shiniest stars in the world of Jamaican dancehall music, the digital bass-and-drum-driven offspring of 1970s reggae. This year's concert looks to be the biggest yet, because some of the genre's pioneers are joining the party. These original ragamuffin toasters, such as vintage-dancehall DJs Super Cat and Barrington Levy, throw down classics alongside modern hitmakers like Rasta firebrand Sizzla and gangster pied piper Mavado, as well as '90s stars Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, and Beenie Man.
