MelloMondays used to be one of Miami's top outlets for spoken-word poetry, offering up its microphone every week to amateurs, as well as seasoned local pros like Will Da Real One — whose appearance on HBO's Def Poetry Jam made the city proud. The event disappeared for a while, but now it's back, having relocated north to Hollywood. From the looks of it, the reliable audience that once made it such a popular party has found it again, along with legions of new poetry fans.
