More Flavor: Convention Storm Prep Expo 2008

Since the hurricane database started in 1851, few seasons have spared Florida from a monster storm — which means, chances are good something ugly will smack our shores this year. But even if history is on Mother Nature's side, you can avert some of her wrath with a little preparation. This weekend, the American Red Cross and Miami-Dade's Department of Emergency Management team up with former National Hurricane Center Director Max Mayfield, current NHC Director Bill Read, CBS News hurricane specialist Bryan Norcross, and a coterie of vendors and volunteers to help you plan ahead so you can survive what strikes.
