Famous names Rick Moody and Connie May Fowler may bring the most fans to the MDC quad, but it's a cinch this lunchtime romp down memory lane belongs to Nick Flynn, whose Another Bullshit Night in Suck City throws the stricken art of the memoir into a hall of mirrors. Flynn first met his father while working in a homeless shelter, where dear ol' dad just happened to be flopping. Not only does he know well of what he writes, but he also writes it well — with all the tell-tale bruises delivered in vivid black and blue.
