Music: Global Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz

Already a hit in New York, Celia charts the life and times of late Cuban songstress Celia Cruz through the eyes of her husband Pedro Knight. It's one of the first major works to emerge in tribute to the diva after her passing in 2003, and the musical showcases bold, sassy songs from almost every part of Cruz's six-decade career. This run at the Arsht Center kicks off the play's first international tour and features performances in both Spanish and English — but all of the songs remain in the original Spanish.
