Music: Punk/Metal Rancid w/ Guajiro and the ClockOuts

Emerging from the same early-'90s Northern Cali punk-rock scene that birthed bands like Green Day and the Offspring, Rancid played a big role in redefining the genre for the new millennium. Rancid have an adventurous spirit, with a willingness to incorporate aspects of ska and rockabilly into their punk posturing. They never attained the massive commercial success of their peers, but if anything, that has made them even more important to younger fans who follow the indie ethos of the original punk rockers. On this tour (which includes new drummer Brandon Steineckert), Rancid crams their set list with old favorites as well as selections from their forthcoming album.
