For those eternally seeking the next best thing, Cyndi Lauper and the B-52s probably don't rank very high on the music agenda — big mistake. Many in Miami nightlife could use a reminder of where downtown's new-wave sets draw their inspiration from and who, exactly, debuted the trend of rock 'n roll vintage and neon tights. Tonight's stop of the True Colors tour, which features both acts, along with Deborah Cox and Rosie O'Donnell, is a good place to start. A percentage of revenue is donated to raising awareness in the GLBT community, so you can even do some good while singing along to live performances of some jukebox staples.
