Some of the more adventurous strains of electronic music — such as the shuffling, minor-key thwomp of dubstep — don't get much love on Miami's dance floors, unless it's Winter Music Conference time. Thankfully, the grime-curious now have a haven on Sunday nights, as Chocolate's Place — a tiny club on the dive-y end of SoBe's Washington Avenue — hosts a rotating cast of local jocks and resident DJ Contra (not that Contra), spinning dubstep's darkest, funkiest bangers.
