Open-mic nights and musical jam sessions are usually freewheeling, casual events, but that's hardly the case with Miami Live, a glamtastic midweek bash hosted by Michael Madd and Bigg Dee. The collaborative party includes cocktails, dinner, a live band, and, often, surprise performances by top hip-hop and R&B artists like Lil' Wayne, Keyshia Cole, and Brian McKnight. By marrying old-school musicianship and improvisation with the flashing lights and beautiful people of the South Beach scene, Miami Live has established itself as one of the best parties in town.
