Music: Global Jazid 12th Anniversary Party

For 12 years now, Jazid has held down its spot at the heart of Washington Avenue as one of the best places to hear live music. It's no small feat; when the two-story bar first opened, South Beach was peppered with live-music venues like Rose's and Stephen Talkhouse, but they've all given way to velvet ropes and thumping, glitter-covered dance floors. Only Jazid remains, and to celebrate, the venue's going all out with a two-night jam, enlisting hometown heroes Locos por Juana, Le Spam & the Spam Allstars, Suénalo, and Carlos Bertonatti for a barrage of Latin grooves and nonstop champagne.
