For tired ArtWalkers in need of a refueling, stop by Locust Projects on Saturday night, where Miami artist Jason Hedges stirs up a little fire and brimstone for his performance piece Lamb. Referencing his notorious close-up photographs of meat, Hedges taps into his inner caveman to create an 18-foot-long "spit triptych" comprising three whole lambs. Sewn together in sections, Lamb is slowly roasted over a fiery spit by the artist throughout the day, and served up to ravenous gallery-goers in the evening. It's a delicious display fueled by an engagement with ancient traditions — vegetarians beware. – Daria Brit Shapiro
