Set aside your frustrations with Miami's real-estate crisis and check out Leandro Comba's Obrador, an exhibition of architecture-inspired work at Hardcore Art Contemporary Space. Abstract pieces reintroduce the viewer to happy notions of structure and space, while serving as a reminder of minimalism's poignancy. Meticulous lines and shapes create a sense of dimensionality, painted on flat backgrounds of brown, white, and black. The exhibition's title refers to the workshop in which architectural structures are planned out — in Comba's case, with an obsessive simplicity.
