- Over the last decade, many a touring rock fest has fizzled out under the summer sun despite behemoth corporate sponsorships and headlining acts. However, the sun has not yet set on the Vans Warped Tour, going strong since 1995. Warped features dozens of bands performing short, incendiary sets on various stages in a gigantic festival area that also includes all manner of extreme-sports exhibitions. As always, the lineup is too lengthy to list anywhere but on the tour's official website, but highlights this year include anthemic punk act Against Me! and frenetic electro buzz band Does It Offend You, Yeah? – Jason Jeffers
