- Singer/songwriters Jacob Jeffries and Rachel Goodrich both write whimsical, clever tunes that have won them dedicated fan bases in scene fixated on bigger, louder, and more flamboyant acts. Fort Lauderdale's own, Jeffries (formerly known as Jacob Groten) plays jaunty and driving piano jams, while Miami's Goodrich favors swinging gypsy-jazz and folk-rock numbers steered by ukulele, kazoo, and her magical voice. This show at Culture Room follows a successful team-up a few months back at Miami's Transit Lounge. Tonight, they transport their swinging get-down to Fort Lauderdale. – Jason Jeffers
