In the 2002 documentary Comedian, cameras followed sitcom retiree Jerry Seinfeld as he nervously relaunched his standup career. It was quite unusual to see one of the greatest funnymen of our time eliciting nary a laugh from audiences around the country, but, like the master that he is, Seinfeld shaped his new material until he returned to his former glory. It's been a while since Comedian was filmed, so one can only imagine that he's written a slew of new jokes deconstructing the seemingly mundane details of modern life.
