Karma-Ann Swanepoel is already a star in South Africa. Formerly a member of rock outfit Henry Ate, Karma left her country in 2003 to pursue solo success in North America, a mission that she has taken on with gusto. So far, the singer has made significant headway, recording with producers who have tended to the likes of Shakira and Lauryn Hill. She's currently touring the country, and this week brings her pensive acoustic tunes to Miami.
