After exploring the outer limits of jazz with Miles Davis' first electric ensemble, pianist Chick Corea set off on his own wild musical adventure. The vessel for his mission is Return to Forever, which features a constantly changing roster of musicians, who accompany Corea on a mad journey through funk and rock. The outfit became one of the most vital bands of the controversial fusion genre, with the 1974-76 lineup — featuring Stanley Clarke on bass, Lenny White on drums, and Al Di Meola on guitar — generating the most critical acclaim and commercial success. That star-studded iteration of RTF have reunited and hit the Gleason as part of an anticipated world tour.
