Music: Rock/Pop Mark Knopfler

Mark Knopfler was the lead singer and guitarist for Dire Straits, the British rock band responsible for hits such as the MTV-mocking "Money for Nothing." That would be accomplishment enough for most musicians, but Knopfler has built an impressive career outside of his now-defunct group, having produced one of Bob Dylan's only quality albums from the '80s, in addition to scoring films like the fantasy classic The Princess Bride. Tonight, he continues working his way around the world in support of his 2007 album Kill to Get Crimson.
