If summertime pop-rap is leaving you itching for the real thing, look no further than the hip-hop heroics on display at Rock the Bells. The festival brings together more than a decade of heavy hitters, including A Tribe Called Quest, Raekwon & Ghostface, Nas, De La Soul, and the reunited Pharcyde. But the newbies are good bets, too: Wale's Seinfeldian Mixtape About Nothing seems like a simple lark, but it marks the emergence of Washington, DC's only A-list MC.
