Justin Vernon, the humble genius behind one-man band Bon Iver, holed up in a remote Wisconsin cabin to write and record the bulk of his self-released debut, For Emma, Forever Ago. Vernon's four wintry months of solitude inspired a gorgeous acoustic record, full of close-mic'd guitar, experimental percussion, gently droning reverb, and oft-layered, affecting falsetto. Tonight, Bon Iver plunges into the wilds of Fort Lauderdale to conjure up his ethereal tunes at Revolution.
