“Like any proper Dadaist endeavor, Dadareah was generated out of absurdity — this one, the artists say, involving a cockamamie phantasmagoria of, um, "pee-filled Super Soakers and deep-fried laptops." Leave it to the untamed minds at OHWOW, one of the most forward-thinking art spaces in Miami, and NYC's Honeygun Labs to offer a monthlong residency to even more feral artists who indulged in a freeform video workshop that included anything from animation to live music and uninhibited eccentricity. The resulting video and all other accompanying ephemera make up the actual show, with contributions from Devin Flynn, Jim Drain, Naomi Fisher, Jen Stark, Alvaro Ilizarbe (aka Freegums), Friends With You, Todd James (aka REAS), Joe Grillo of DEARRAINDROP, Takeshi Murata, Ara Peterson, and many more.

Dadarhea is a freeform video workshop with a group of guest artists who pride themselves on confounding their audiences, allowing them to employ animation, live action video (on location and greenscreen), musical performance, or any and all improvised & questionable behavior. Through the month of July, a residency at OHWOW (MIAMI) and at Bec Stupak's Honeygun Labs (NYC) will take place in order to experiment with the possiblity of total video saturation. The finished video will premiere on August 13th with an accompanying installation comprised of any and all emphemera related to the project.
