“Brooklyn publishing house Abe's Penny creates engaging micro-magazines — nice little art objects sent to subscribers as poetic postcards marrying photography and literature. They teamed up with the O, Miami festival this year to set up Abe's Penny Live, an interactive installation of sculptural writing environments inviting visitors to scribe poems inspired by photographs from artists Lee Materazzi, Francie Bishop Good, Samantha Salzinger, and Robby Campbell. This evening's your last chance to contribute (one lucky winner will be published in an issue of Abe's Penny). Also featured: a performance from angelic local folk songstress Raffa Jo Harris and free cocktails from Hendrick's Gin.”
