With a volatile live show that recalls the rhythmic tension of early Prince and the herky-jerky fervor of David Byrne, Francis and the Lights hit Galapagos Art Space following the recent release of their debut EP, Striking. Ranging from grandiose dance-floor pleas to minimalist balladry (just wait for the piano encore), eclectic percussion and Thriller-era MJ dance moves explode out of frontman Francis Farewell Starlite. Known for their Brooklyn loft parties featuring strawberries, champagne, and young coconuts, the 'Lights promise polished and primitive sounds alike.
