Dave Eggers' latest novel tackles one of the great tragedies of our time: the genocide in Sudan. A far cry from his other, more humorous work, What Is the What is a semi-fictional account of a real-life Sudanese "lost boy", Valentino Achak Deng, who fled his war-torn homeland and eventually arrived in the US. Tonight, the McSweeney's founder presents a slideshow of his most recent visit to Sudan and answers questions about his book.
