Inspired by the growing polarization and insularity of American media, Quo Vadimus Arts has gone in the other direction, creating a festival of short plays depicting real, lived experiences. With submissions from six countries and applicants ranging from 17 to 83 years of age, the festival's 24 short pieces use humor, physicality, and warmth to convey America's conflicted essence in three themes: "Psyche," "Dreams," and "Culture." Minimal sets and props ensure that the performances' power stays in the hands of the capable casts and brilliant writing.
