Buddies since their days with the The State and, later, Stella, Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter wrap up their college tour with one last date at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza. The guys have had a busy year: Michael Ian Black's film Run, Fat Boy, Run recently debuted in England (a US release is set for early next year), while Showalter found an Internet hit with The Michael Showalter Showalter. Meanwhile, they've both just released their debut comedy albums. In this return to their old stomping grounds, we should see the former NYU students exercise some of their more absurdist tendencies. Fingers crossed for an onstage collaboration, which has yet to happen on this tour.
