For every joke, sketch, or cartoon that makes it on the air or into print, countless others don't — even ones by some of the biggest names in comedy. Tonight, SNL writer Colin Jost, Fired! writer Annabelle Gurwitch, Comedy Central writer Ophira Eisenberg, and Get Your War On creator David Rees lay their often harrowing creative processes bare, showcasing some of their rejected work. Whether or not you think the Writers Guild strike is justified, tonight's event should be an entertaining (if painful) reminder that being funny can sometimes be like pulling teeth.
