Good things happen when DJs spin outside of their comfort zones. Andy Carthy — better known as Mr. Scruff — tends to spin rare grooves, funk, and jazz, but his Cielo set showcases an equally impressive collection of dub and disco records. Deeper sounds, perhaps, but no less danceable. He's joined by Cielo's own François K, a DJ who favors the warm and expansive low-end frequencies of house and dubstep — and knows how to take full advantage of the club's finely tuned sound system.
