Lil' B describes their sound as "being one with the air," and fellow rapper Young L has been known to sport purple hair — guided by veteran Oakland MC Too $hort, the Pack posit a new variation of post-hyphy. Playful lyrics, electro ambience, and wild stage style bounce the young stunnas between the skate-punk crowd and the hip-hop set. Equally as versatile, new-wave spawn Trouble Andrew offers his snide joints to the rap game, and R&B'er J-Mello croons to the kids about OxyContin.
