Adrian Tomine: Shortcomings & Goings

On the heels of the phenomenal success of Shortcomings, recently named a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, Giant Robot gallery hosts a timely solo show for illustrator and comic-book artist Adrian Tomine. The artist will be signing books for the multitude of fans likely to descend on the tiny gallery for a chance to glimpse some of his original illustrations. Neophyte converts to Tomine's laconic, quietly shattering style can catch up on their reading by picking up back issues of his popular Optic Nerve series at the GRNY store next door.
