Misc.'s productions on Sender Records have defined the label's penchant for ragged, sawtooth techno and tech-house since 2003. Misc.'s last live set at New York's Avalon was pure party techno — the German duo tore the roof off the former church with its brazen energy and in-your-face square-wave bass lines. Plexus, New York's best-kept DJ secret, opens, showcasing the best records you've never heard. This evening celebrates the web launch of record shop Halcyon, a local fave that's now selling vinyl and MP3s online.
