With miles of yarn, persnickety vendors, tacky bric-a-brac, and steep handmade prices, craft fairs often annoy more than impress. But in the hands of the country's sharpest women's magazine, this craft event is far from stodgy. With a full bar to rosy the cheeks and crack the pocketbook, Bust magazine's craftacular has patrons tapping their feet to DJ sets while heartily embracing the joys of a well-placed grommet. Reasonably priced goods include standards — stationary, handbags, jewelry, and silk-screened tees — buttressed by oodles of quirk like the ever-kosher yarmulke bras. Topping off the evening, lush hostess Amy Sedaris stops by to do a little shopping herself and to sign copies of her book I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence.
