Janeane Garofalo, Bebe Neuwirth, and David Strathairn are among the big names in this sobering glance at the war in Iraq, developed by the Fire Dept company. Ten acclaimed playwrights contributed interweaving plotlines, which offer different perspectives on the war; characters include two missing soldiers, a female suicide bomber, and Satan himself. The production was sold out at the National Arts Club in June, but this limited encore performance takes place in an Off-Broadway theater with bigger names. But don't go for the sake of stargazing: the actors are in rotation, and their schedules are subject to change.
