Weary of endless karaoke renditions of "Bust a Move," Jason Newman and his fellow Hip-Hop Karaoke co-founders changed the game, to the delight of our city's many hip-hop junkies. Tonight, nod your head with hundreds of spectators as 12 finalists (accompanied by a DJ and a hype man) live out their inner Biggie, Jigga, and Kool G Rap, while industry aficionados Prince Paul, Ralph McDaniels, and Dres judge the proceedings. Who knows who'll be in the audience — HHK's regular karaoke night has already proven irresistible to Big Daddy Kane and Rhymefest.
