Afro-pop-inspired rockers Vampire Weekend hit town tonight for a hyper-literate, Paul Simon-worshipping set of soon-to-be sing-along indie anthems. While the press buzz is a bit overwhelming (they've only got an EP out!), the band's unpretentious, fun-loving live show is as amazing as advertised (with songs about Oxford commas and the delights of Cape Cod, how couldn't it be?).
