Hip-hop has traveled the world many times over since its inception in the South Bronx more than two decades ago. Tonight, Lord Finesse hosts the celebration of a universal language: Malian prince H.U.L raps with charisma reminiscent of the late Tupac, Mr. Reo's Haitian timbales support his dancehall flow, and Brooklyn-born Vodka ("the hard n*gga not the hard liquor") swaggers over beats that bring it all back home.
