Purge yourself of that joyful holiday stupor this evening at Galapagos with one of two renditions of classic drug-addled novels. Uncork the ether with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, as Terry Gilliam drags Hunter S. Thompson out into bat country, where reporter Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) is on the beat at a desert dirt-bike race. Alternately, reacquaint yourself with the lovely Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) in Stanley Kubrick's electric spin on Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange, showing simultaneously in a separate space. We know, it's a tough call — casino full of mutant tourists, or terrifying murder-by-penis-sculpture — but we trust you'll make the right decision.
