Resident DJs Neil Aline and DJ Angola top off the first week of the post-holidaze with tribal-tinged house beats and a very mixed crowd. Founder of dance label Chez, Aline comes equipped with stacks ranging from soulful melodies to classic New York swing, with plenty of disco beats to spare. Longtime APT resident and Sunday-night mainstay DJ Angola tends to those deeper dance desires with hand-drum heavy Afrobeat sounds (having recorded with the likes of Amayo, of Antibalas fame), along with some casual blending of international influences, from samba to Arabic.
