Taking his first shot at writing for the stage, cinematic colossus Ethan Coen tells tales of anxiety, identity, and of God kicking himself in the ass. Three shorts address the great beyond, the plight of becoming a "people person," and the eternal debate posed by religion (and theatre). Coen's signature subtle dialog, colorful characters, and tortured humor translate to the stage seamlessly, aided by a cast full of familiar faces — including a hilariously aggravated Academy Award-winner, F. Murray Abraham; his every gesture and grimace compliments the nuanced scenarios.
