One of post-punk's thorniest acts, Killing Joke, return after a long silence for two abrasive nights in New York. Show number one includes back-to-back performances of the band's first two albums, 1980's Killing Joke and 1981's What's THIS For...!. The second night, Killing Joke play their early Island Records singles — a collection of stripped-down punk ditties — in addition to the entirety of 1994's tribal, hypnosis-inducing chart-topper, Pandemonium. With all four original members of the band on board, this opportunity to revisit the deep roots of industrial rock is hard to pass up.
